Я эту игру долго искал. В конце концов собрал из скринов с ттс и ютуба. Было бы проще ее просто на английском распечатать, и я так бы и сделал, если бы не текст на некоторых картах.
Конечно понятно, что авторы - американцы, но по крайней мере, на картах России текст мог и не быть прозападной русофобской пропаганды.

Поэтому я игру на болгарском языке сделал и написал свой собственный и (надеюсь) более взвешенный текст о происходящих в ней событиях.

Как обычно, прилагаю файлы, позволяющие текст легко переключать для тех, кто хочет изменить язык.

Во время работы над игрой, мне грустно стало. Для меня это был новый опыт, который, надеюсь, скоро повторять не буду.

Hi everyone, here is a PnP for Sol: Last Days of a Star made from materials I scratched together on the internet.

I've been wanting to get my hands on this game for a while, but it is out of print and impossible to find, so I made my own copy.

The package contains editable files for the cards in English and Bulgarian in Microsoft Publisher format (for some reason I could not export the cards into a PDF format. Maybe Publisher was overwhelmed by the number of vector graphics inside)

It also contains STL files for the game pieces for 3D printing. I was learning to use Tinkercad while I made those, so they are not perfect but they printed well.

пожалуйста, помогите мне найти игру из моего детства о морских боях.

Это была игра для 2 игроков. У каждого игрока было 2 линейных корабля, 4 катера и 4 подводные лодки. Цель игры заключалась в том, чтобы оба линкоры оказались в порту противника.

Не было игральных костей, линкоры двигались как король в шахматах, подводные лодки как слоны в шахматах, катера двигались прямо на 1 или 2 поля.

В центре карт было 2 массива суши с 2 портами в каждом, где линейные корабли могли укрыться.

У меня была болгарская версия, но я уверен, что это была русская игра.

Кто-нибудь помнит название этой игры?

After the review of SU&SD for the game A War of Whispers, the game became impossible to purchase in Europe.

Well, I had to have it so I made a PnP.

This game was very obviously inspired by the A Song of Ice and Fire book series. Even the desiner states so. He could not acquire the rights to the IP for commercial use, but we do not use it commercially. I changed the theme back to the original idea of the designer and took some creative liberties with the card text to better match the theme.

I used some awesome art I found on the internet. Many thanks go to the original art creators, as well as the original game designer!

Hello everyone,

The Species Template board from the Kickstarter of Eclipse Second Dawn for the Galaxy has been released.

I have always thought that the computer game Master of Orion was one of the chief inspirations for this game, so I went and remade the Eclipse races into the races from Master of Orion, which I feel best fit their special abilities.

This is how I reassigned the species and why:

Humans stay Humans
Eridani Empire becomes Gnolam - main reason is the initial wealth
Hydran Proggress become Psilon - research benefits
Plant become Klackon - main reason is hive intelligence - once control is lost population dies out
The Descendants of Draco become the Silicoid - the only non-organic race (except for Mekklar, which I reserved for the expansion race Pixys Unity) and as such exempt from the life-hating ancient guardians
Mechanema becomes Terrans - again, a better fit would have been the Mekklar, but they are reserved
Orion Hegemony becomes Bulrathi - the brutality and ground supremacy fit the special ability to destroy all rival populations automatically when they gain control

The Expansion races, which will surely come at some point I reassigned as follows:
The Magellans become the Trilarians - main reason is their ancient and mysterious nature, and the Trilarians have that Cthulhu vive
The Exiles become the Darlok - they start with stealth technology
The Rho Indi syndicate become Mrrshan - combat oriented light predators
The Enlightened of Lyra become the Alkari - lofty spiritual beings

The Octantis races bekome the Sakkra - evolution oriented gene manipulators
The Shapers of Dorado become the Elerian - highly advanced technology allowing them time jumps
The Pixys Unity become the Mekklar - a race which would have fitted  two other slots as well, but is best suted  for the nano-tech transformer-style gameplay of the Pixys

For those of you familiar with both Eclipse and the Master of Orion races, what is your opinion on these race reassignments?

Since Second Dawn introduces gameplay tweaks and only the base game races have been revealed so far, I only did the original 7 species. The other races will be done when they release the tweaks to them in the expansions for Eclipse, which are sure to come.

As a long-term project, I plan to remake all the hexes using Master of Orion art and create 3D printer files for the various ships structures and markers.

I was thinking of remaking all the tech tiles with Master of Orion techs and artwork, but I am of the opinion that would most likely lead to confusion in long-term eclipse plyers and any additional artwork will diminish the readability of the tech tiles making the game less playable.

Since I am a huge fan of both the Eclipse board game and the Master of Orion computer games (with the exception of MOO III, which if you ask me never existed ), I believe THIS is what both Eclipse and the Master of Orion board games should have been. I am appalled that it did not happen and I plan to fix this wrong in the world.

Tiefe Taschen - a negotiation card game about corrupt politicians.

This is a card-only version with card size 45x68 mm.

The original game has 8 players in 8 colours. This version includes a 9th player colour - purple (for those of you who have the game "Heimlich und Co." and would like to use the detective figures from it, like I do).

This version also includes several "State Bankruptcy" Cards on which you can mark your own end-game pile size for different player counts and different thickness of the cards, with/without sleeves etc. You only need one "State Bankruptcy" card to play the game.
